Before Storage
Cleaning
- Wash motorcycle thoroughly
- Dry completely to prevent rust
- Wax paint for protection
- Apply corrosion inhibitor to metal parts
Maintenance
- Change oil and filter
- Check and replace spark plugs
- Check brake pads and fluid
- Lubricate chain and control cables
- Check tires for damage
Fuel System
- Fill tank to prevent rust
- Add fuel stabilizer
- Run engine to circulate stabilizer
- Turn fuel valve off (if applicable)
Battery
- Clean terminals
