Motorcycle Storage Guide

Proper storage keeps your motorcycle in good condition during periods of inactivity.

Before Storage

Cleaning

  • Wash motorcycle thoroughly
  • Dry completely to prevent rust
  • Wax paint for protection
  • Apply corrosion inhibitor to metal parts

Maintenance

  • Change oil and filter
  • Check and replace spark plugs
  • Check brake pads and fluid
  • Lubricate chain and control cables
  • Check tires for damage

Fuel System

  • Fill tank to prevent rust
  • Add fuel stabilizer
  • Run engine to circulate stabilizer

Battery
